Harley Hall had been INTERROGATED BY THE SOVIETS -AFTER BEING PARADED AROUND HANOI WITH A SIGN HUNG AROUND HIS NECK THAT READ "I'AM A BIG BLUE ANGEL."

This reinforced my previous conclusion and added the STUNNING NEW REVELATION that Harley Hall had been INTERROGATED BY THE SOVIETS (which,I hasten to point out, could not have happened had he "died"in the area where his teeth were allegedly lost and recovered twenty years later!) This is in startling contradiction to theU.S. Government's present bland acceptance of his "death" in the Quang Tri area shortly after being shot down6. REFUGEE STATEMENTS: I realize less credence is given to"hearsay" from Vietnamese, but it is no secret that about the time of my husband's downing and capture, there was frequent recounting of and bragging about "the parading of a big Blue Angel" in Vietnam, possibly through Hanoi. Cases of misidentification and case closing on insufficient evidence are not new or unique to my husband's case, but all the above shows me is that the United States Government's "highest national priority" in this area is to shorten if not eliminate the missing list and close the book on as many discrepancy cases as possible, even if it means a completely false burial of hundreds of Americans.

I KNOW THAT THIS STATEMENT WAS TRUE BECAUSE I SAW THE COMMUNIST RELEASE FILM ABOUT "THE BIG BLUE ANGEL" ON THE 6:00pm NEWS IN THE 1970's Harley Hall had been

INTERROGATED BY THE SOVIETS AND TAKEN TO MOSCOW BECAUSE OF A HIGHLY CLASSIFIED SERVICE RECORD. THE FILM LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BEEN TAKEN ABOUT 2:00am -AFTER BEING PARADED AROUND HANOI WITH A SIGN HUNG AROUND HIS NECK THAT READ "I'AM A BIG BLUE ANGEL." HE AND TWO OTHER DOWNED PILOTS WERE WITH HIM FACES WERE BEATEN BEYOND RECOGNITION, HANDS TIED BEHIND THEIR BACKS WITH ARMED GUARDS WITH AK-47's WITH BAYONETS AT THEIR BACKS. THE CITIZENS OF HANOI WERE ALLOWED TO COME UP AND SPIT IN THE FACES OF THE PRISONERS AND SHAKE THEIR FISTS AND SHOUT OBSCENITIES IN VIETNAMESE WHILE OTHERS WERE DRUNK AND THREW POP BOTTLES, WINE AND BEER BOTTLES AT THE PRISONERS. WHILE YET IN THE BACKGROUND ANOTHER PRISONER WAS BEING DRAGGED TO DEATH BY A SPEEDING "VIET CONG" JEEP ALL IN FRONT OF THE HANOI HILTON WHERE THE OTHER TWO WITH HARLEY WHO WAS GREETED BY TO RUSSIAN KGB AGENTS AND TOOK HARLEY OUT OF VIETNAM.

I HAD THE SISTER FILM TO THE ONE I JUST DESCRIBED ON MY OLD SITE, BUT WAS PULLED OFF BY HANOI FOR SECURITY REASONS. LOOKED SOMETHING LIKE THIS...

THE POW-MIA

I am a Navy pilot; I am a dead Marine;
I am the wounded grunt they couldn. t find.

They killed me in an ambush, and they captured me alive,
And I died when my Huey crashed and burned.
They over-ran my unit, but I managed to survive,
And they brought me North in chains when they returned.

They beat me and they whipped me, and they worked me .

They told me that my parents died, that my kids were grown

MY EDITORIAL: "WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO HARLEY HALL???"

Additional evidence was forthcoming. During a "one time good deal" arranged by Defense Intelligence Agency, Mrs. Hall and another Vietnam widow gained access to their husband's declassified files. Hall's file was huge -- nearly a foot thick -- and contained much of what Mary Lou had seen before. Intercepted Vietnamese radio messages tracked Hall from battalion to battalion after his shootdown, and there was mention of "a big Blue Angel" being paraded in Hanoi. "Harley was well known because he'd led the Navy's flight demonstration team on an Asian tour in 1970 or 1971," Mrs. Hall explains.
Beyond the previous data, one document shocked Mary Lou Hall: A report that her husband had been interrogated by Soviet officials, presumably in Hanoi. No paper or pens were permitted in the secure reading room, but she memorized the document by date and origin, and then filed a request for its release. Eventually DIA replied that no such report could be found. The real conclusion I'am guessing that Moscow Agents the KGB came and took him to Moscow for further interrigation because of his most high military profile being the Captain of the Navy lue Angels and that would answer your question why the Viet Cong hung a sign around Harley's neck saying "i'am a Big Blue Angel" The NVA and VC obviously found ths information first and because of thhe importance of the Military information that could still be gathered at the time the North Vietnamese called Moscow to send the Russian KGB out from Moscow for further interrigation. Is my educated guess and was probably beaten to death and most likely has died in Russia and that's why the body was never found and the case was never solved.
